Cosmetic is excellent, except a few light scratches on the cover due to being used for so many years. The plinth and hinges (new) are perfect and fully functional. The turntable turns at accurate speeds (33 & 45) and is in perfect working order. The Signet XK50 tonearm is for pictures only and is NOT included. Pictures are on the actual item. It will be doubled boxed in the original Linn packing and a 3rd box will be added to give better protection. Following is some information on the upgrades. The Cirkus Kit is the most fundamental upgrade to LP12. The main bearing body is far more rigid than before. Increased distance between top and bottom liners in the bearing housing itself to make it as stable as possible, thus eliminating even the smallest amount of rocking of the spindle. An increase in the bearing oil capacity and increasing the height of the bearing housing above the top liner so as to improve lubrication. A stiffer double laminate fixing of the Cirkus bearing to the steel Cirkus sub-chassis, to further increase the rigidity of the relationship between the main bearing and the sub-chassis and also reduces flexing of the sub-chassis itself. A new sub-platter and spindle for use with the other new parts. A kit of suspension parts including new springs, top and bottom bushes, new fixing screws and washers, plus a new drive belt, P-Clip, Earthing Tag Wire. Hercules 2 power supply. 33 & 45 rpm. Flat cable and switch with 2 (speeds) indicators. TigerPaw Tranquility Bearing Support. Quility bearing support significantly lowers friction by around 90% which in turn lowers the amount of residual noise transmitted by the bearing. As the result – more (music) from the LP12.
